Every Step You Take Is a fast pace Mystery Suspense novel written by Judith Kelman A real thriller! Lots of action and suspense where the guilty party is hard to pin down. It will suck you in and keep you guessing. The book is about a widowed woman named Claire Barrow who is novelist. Claire’s husband was a policeman investigating a major murder case when he was accused of witness tampering among other things. During the time he was being investigated he committed suicide and the supposed murder released. Some time later he was rearrested for a different murder. Just when Claire think things are starting to look up everything starts going south. The step daughter she loves as her own and promises to raise and care for starts to rebel and things start to go down hill from there, her publisher Ben is let go and disappears Her new publisher whom Claire believes is the devil in sheep’s clothing; refuses Claire’s idea for the new book she had been working on and now she must come up with something new in time to meet her deadline, which is approaching fast. At the same time the murderer that her husband had been chasing and was recently being put on trail is released, and she has become the target of the very character she is writing about in her new book. Things just can not get any worse…. Or can they?
Mysterious and captivating I give it 10*** out of 10
For mystery and thrill seekers a must read!!

Artemis Fowl "The Arctic Incident" Is a little more fast pace. Artemis and his bodyguard are on a mission! But first they have to join forces with some old would be enemies to save the underworld. Things get a little sticky in the second book Artemis is now 13 yrs old and in the process of learning a very valuable lesson both about himself and others. To do so will mean getting more involved as well as dirty in the literal since. Things take a turn but not necessarily for the good, he has to risk more and become more dependent on himself in order to change the out come of the events at hand.
The second book is really fast pace and contains a lot of action. It only took me a day to get though this second book because it was just that interesting. Because of that I have changed my mind about Artemis Fowl being a very good second to Harry Potter Although Harry Potter is still my favorite above all others; Artemis is defiantly in a class all of its own and holds 1st place in its category I would very much like to read more by this author as well as J.K. Rowling. They are both unique and superior writers. However, I do believe that Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter are at their writer’s personal best both of these books will be hard to beat by either writer.

For those of you who love the Harry Potter series you will also enjoy Artemis Fowl. Some say they liked it more than Harry, but I think it runs a very good second . The story is of very good quality and will hold the interest of it readers especially if you liked Harry Potter. I was told by the young person at the library that the Artemis Fowl series came out before Harry Potter , of this I am not sure however; I am quite enjoying this series. there are 4 books in this series by Eoin Colfer and I have just finished the first and begun the second. In the first book Artemis Fowl is a little boy at the age of 12 who has an ingénues criminals mind. When his fathers ship is sunk in Russian water by the Russian mafia his father is lost and so is a good portion of his families wealth. To help his father and to recover their monumental loses Artemis Fowl and his rather large body guard Butler attempt to scam the magical people in the underworld. See what happens when Artemis Fowl and his Butler match brains, and boron with magic against Elves, Goblins, and trolls in the hopes of stilling their gold.
